The Rotary Club of Wagga Wagga Sunrise supports a wide range of Youth and Leadership Programs. Many of these are Rotary programs, some are Community-based and some developed locally by our Club to recognise individuals or to support local causes.

Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment
RYPEN is a challenging weekend designed for Year 9 students which aims to communicate a series of ideas, discuss social issues and run a series of challenging team-building activities that will assist in the development of life skills. more details
Model United Nations Assembly
MUNA simulates the workings of the United Nations Assembly by having teams of secondary students represent UN nations in debates on matters of world political and social concern. more details
National Youth Science Forum
National Youth Science Forum, held in January each year, is a hands-on experience in which science comes to life and students learn leadership and communication skills and start networking for their future career. more details

Three days of hands-on science at Charles Sturt University for Year 9 and 10 students. more details
National Science and Engineering Challenge
Students participate in a series of exciting competitive activities. These activities are designed to demonstrate the varied and practical elements of a career in the science and engineering industries. more details
Honeywell Engineering Summer School
This week long live-in program is aimed at year 11 NSW and ACT students. The students visit five engineering universities, undertake industry site tours and are provided with the opportunity to talk one-on-one with engineers at a careers expo. more details
Rotary Murray Darling School of Freshwater Research
Allows students living in and around the Murray-Darling Basin to experience activities in the fields of freshwater research, conservation and the environment. more details
Charles Houen Legal Studies Scholarship
A Scholarship presented to a Year 12 Legal Studies Student at Kooringal High School Wagga Wagga. Also assists to support continuing studies of Law at University. more details
Australian Rotary Health Indigenous Scholarship
A partnership between Rotary and the State or Commonwealth government to provide scholarships to Indigenous Australians who can then use their education to benefit other Indigenous people. more details
Charles Sturt Foundation Scholarship
A Scholarship for a student in any year of any undergraduate degree at Charles Sturt University-Wagga Wagga Campus. more details
Summer School of Strings Scholarship
Caters for players of violin, viola, cello, double bass and guitar, from six to eighty years of age, and offers a range of string playing activities to cater for varying interests and abilities. more details
