This is the final Bulletin in its present format.

Following discussion at the AGM last week the decision was taken to revamp the club communication procedures in an effort to better meet the needs of our members.


  • There will now be 11 Bulletins each Rotary year published monthly with the exception of December and January which will be combined into a Summer Edition. This publication will be expanded and include items highlighting Rotary International, District and local programs and items of interest to our members and the community in general. It will rely on your support and contributions, particularly from various chairs of committees and event organisers.


  • The February, March, April, May and June 2012 editions will be used to experiment with formats to better meet your needs. Feedback would be greatly appreciated so that we do provide what you need.


  • The weekly information email will be slightly expanded to publicise individual meetings including speaker information, reminders and urgent information.


  • The use of our Facebook page will become an important source of instant information with users getting up to date information directly to their News Feed. This will also provide a forum for interaction. Non Facebook users will be informed through emails.


  • Our website will remain the major source of detailed and archived information and should be regularly accessed to keep up to date. Links will be placed on the information email and on Facebook to important additions made to the website.

The next information newsletter will be published on 17th January and thence every Tuesday.

The next Bulletin will be published on 7th February and thence first Tuesday of each month.
