President's Message

Greetings fellow Rotarians

I would like to share some positive feedback about our last meeting:
'Just wanted to say I thought last night’s meeting was terrific. Such a good vibe from everyone. Oh! To be 15 and heading to Denmark. What a respectful young lady she is. She’ll do us proud. Our potential new member Lorraine was also fabulous - very interesting career path I’m looking forward to hearing more about her.'

It was a terrific made possible by the contribution of each member and amazing Arki. As Kylie her mother, we too are proud to have Arki as our exchange student. To make the meeting even more special Lorraine blessed us with her presence. They are now part of our Rotary family.

Next meeting we are graced with the attendance of our District Governor - Peter Ward and his wife Anne. We need to show that we are true examples of being a Rotarian. Lets all attend and assist our D.G. to have a terrific meeting.

Mitch advised that the Race Day next year will be at Wyong on Saturday 3rd March 2018, celebrating Country Race Day, we will also be in the new on course marque. Please assist Mitch to make this  a resounding success.

We must also remember that we still have two other major events this year.

27th October - Annual Charity Golf Day at Kooindah Waters

29th November - Primary Citizens Awards (19th Year)

Until our next meeting: 'Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out' - Robert Collier.

Regards & blessings

David Knight

President 2017/18
