Board Meeting

Last Week

Annabelle Chauncy from School for Life Foundation was our guest at last week's meeting.

On a visit to Kenya Annabelle saw how the lack of education of young people in remote and rural areas was badly affecting the villages.  Unfortunately the civil war in the country made doing anything about it almost impossible and she was evacuated to Uganda.

Here Annabelle saw the same problems and on meeting David Everett, who held the same ideals, they combined in an effort to bring education children, especially girls, in remote areas of the country.

What can be achieved in such a short time by two young people with dreams, determination and hard work is quite miraculous and their plans for the future are inspiring.
